LoopDo — Tasks, Logs & Reminders
SupportThis Privacy Policy describes how Ali DAĞ (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the LoopDo mobile application (the “App”). We are committed to transparency and to handling your data responsibly.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who We Are
For privacy-related requests—including access, correction, deletion, or account deletion—contact us at the email above. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and, where applicable, within the periods required by law.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide the App’s core features.
Account & authentication
- Sign-in data when you authenticate via email and password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In, such as your name, email address, and a unique account identifier provided by the sign-in provider.
- Firebase Authentication stores authentication credentials and session information necessary to keep you signed in securely.
Tasks, reminders & app content
- Task titles, descriptions, due dates, completion status, logs, and related metadata you create in the App.
- Reminder schedules, recurrence rules, and snooze or dismissal actions associated with your tasks.
- Notification preferences you configure within the App.
This data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and linked to your account so your tasks sync across devices where you are signed in.
Notifications & alarms
- On supported devices, the App may use local notifications and, on iOS, AlarmKit to deliver reminders and alarms you schedule.
- Reminder content is processed on your device to trigger alerts; scheduling preferences may be stored locally and in Firestore as needed for sync.
Technical & diagnostic data
- Basic device and app information (e.g., operating system version, app version) that Firebase and sign-in providers may process to deliver their services.
- We do not intentionally collect precise location data, contacts, photos, or microphone/audio recordings through the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- Store, sync, and display your tasks, logs, and reminders.
- Deliver notifications and alarms according to your settings.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability of the App.
- Respond to your support and privacy requests.
We process your data based on: (a) performance of the service you request; (b) your consent where required (e.g., notifications); and (c) our legitimate interest in operating and securing the App, where permitted by law.
4. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following service providers:
- Firebase Authentication — account sign-in and session management.
- Cloud Firestore — cloud storage and synchronization of your task and reminder data.
- Google Sign-In — optional authentication (subject to Google’s Privacy Policy).
- Sign in with Apple — optional authentication (subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy).
These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the App. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies and, where applicable, data processing terms with us as the app developer.
5. Data Sharing & Sale
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may disclose information only when:
- Required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the public, or our services.
- Needed to operate the App through the service providers listed above, under contractual safeguards.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and task data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. If you delete your account (see Section 8), we will delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate security purposes.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures provided by Firebase and platform security features (including encrypted transport and access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data (you can also edit tasks directly in the App).
- Deletion — request deletion of specific data or your entire account.
- Account deletion — delete your account from within the App where available, or contact us at ali.dagg25@gmail.com. Account deletion removes your Firestore data linked to your account and disables future sign-in under that account.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent (e.g., notifications), you may withdraw consent in device settings; this may limit App functionality.
- Object or restrict processing — where applicable under GDPR or similar laws.
- Portability — request a machine-readable copy of data you provided, where technically feasible.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email ali.dagg25@gmail.com.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR): You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our legal basis for processing is described in Section 3. Contact us for any GDPR-related request.
9. International Data Transfers
Firebase and related Google services may process and store data in the United States and other countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) apply to international transfers. By using the App, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data protection laws than your own.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
